Okay!

Good god, I haven't updated this thing in AGES. Well, I guess it's time to finally do so ;D

I went to ACEN this year. All I can say, is that it was GREAT. Especially for my first BIG anime convention xD

Heres the story.

About a week before leaving for the convention, my best friend asked me if I would be his girlfriend. I accepted. ;D He also came with me to the convention.
We cosplayed Misa and Light from Death Note, and almost instantly, we were complimented as "the Best Light and Misa" most people had ever seen xD Which was of course, a BIG eo booster.

We spent the next few days shopping, posing for pictures, and finding awesome cosplays. I was really surprised to see all the Gundam Wing cosplayers. Most of them were Heero O_o But I also spotted A Lady Une, Treize, a few Duos, and best of all, a QUATRE. xD Shut up, you all know that I'm a fangirl.

And even though my boyfriend and I broke up on the last morning of the con (it was kinda mutual, we both realized that it couldn't really work but our relationship was exactly like Light and Misa's... for real, AND... he's had a difficult time with his sexual orientation for a while... so I went into the relationship knowing that it probably wouldn't last long, but I loved it anyway... best week of my LIFE) ACEN was a real treat. I want to go next year!!!
